About Philip

I'm a mechanical engineer turned full-time handyman, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

After years designing parts for cars and aircraft, I traded my desk for a tool belt. It started by accident: I fixed a few things at a friend's house while dog-sitting, and before long he was recommending me to his neighbors. One thing led to another, and Handyman Philip was born.

My engineering background means I approach every job methodically. I don't rush, I don't guess, and I don't start work until I'm confident the outcome will be right. I'm also fully insured, and I communicate openly at every step - before, during, and after the job.

But honestly? The part I love most isn't the repairs. It's the people. In my eyes, I'm not fixing your house - I'm helping you build a home.
