I'm not a moving company - I'm one reliable person who will show up, work hard, and treat your belongings with care. For apartment moves, small local moves, single-room moves, or situations where you just need help with the heavy stuff, that's often exactly what you need.

No truck - I don't provide a moving vehicle. You'll need to rent or arrange one separately.
No long-distance moves - I serve Boulder County and surrounding areas. I'm not set up for cross-state or multi-day moves.
No piano or gun safe moving - These require specialty equipment and a dedicated moving crew. I'll refer you to someone who handles these.
No full packing service - I can help move boxes that are already packed, but I don't pack households from scratch.
No junk removal - If you need items disposed of, a dedicated junk removal service is the right call.

How to Get the Most Out of a Moving Assistance Visit
A little preparation makes a big difference and keeps your hourly costs down:
Label your boxes before I arrive. Knowing what's fragile, what's heavy, and where things are going saves significant time.
Disassemble large furniture in advance if possible. Bed frames, desks, and large shelving units move much faster when broken down.
Clear a path from the room to the exit. Moving through cluttered hallways slows everything down.
Know where things are going. A rough plan for placement in the new space means less standing around deciding.
Have packing materials ready - furniture blankets, stretch wrap for drawers, boxes sealed and taped.

Do you work weekends?
Yes. Most moving jobs happen on weekends, and I'm available for Saturday and Sunday appointments. Book ahead when you can - weekend slots fill faster.
Can you help me move furniture within my home, not just during a move?
Yes. Rearranging rooms, moving a couch from one end of the house to another, getting a heavy dresser upstairs - these are all common requests and well within scope.
Do I need to provide any equipment?
If you have furniture blankets and stretch wrap, bring them. I carry basic supplies but having extras always helps on bigger jobs.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you know your date. Moving jobs, especially weekend ones, are best booked at least a week out. That said, I'll always try to accommodate last-minute requests if I'm available.
Can you help with assembly after the move?
Yes. Furniture assembly is one of my core services. Many clients book moving assistance and assembly together - it's efficient and means everything is set up and ready the same day.
